Kalaniya Rajamaha Wiharaya

   Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya or Kelani Viharaya is a Buddhist temple 🙏 located in the Kelaniya area near the Kelani River in the Gampaha Administrative District of Sri Lanka. 😍

Dr. Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangha Thero. 🙏 The third visit of the Supreme Buddha to Ceylon took place eight years after attaining Enlightenment. Thus, the history of the Kelaniya Sacred Area dates back to BC. It can be considered as far as 500 BC.
